Practical: ABO and Rh Blood Grouping
Aim
To determine the ABO blood group and Rh factor of a given blood sample using the rapid slide agglutination method.
Principle
The test is based on the Antigen-Antibody reaction. Clumping (agglutination) occurs if the corresponding antigen is present on the RBC surface when mixed with specific Antisera.
